Smartie Pants

When they come home from school they have to do home work before they can go outside to play. Remind you I have 3 in school and I also have my niece duing the week so she can go to school.(she is in 1st grade too) Anyhoo they came home like always throwing their bookbags on the floor, took off their shoes and in the floor they went. The baby was asleep so I got on computer to check messages and such. It sure did get quiet in there. "Are ya'll studing your spelling words." no answer "Hello" I said. Still nothing, so I got up to go check they were outside. I screamed "There is no way ya'll studied your words and vocabulary, get in here." Crimson runs in "yes mommy I did, I know mine." "Whatever lets see." I started calling them out to her, of course she knew them rolling her eyes as she spelled them. So on the paper (its a weekly news letter from teacher) I was looking for a BIG word to get her." Ok missy spell COMPREHENSION." I told her. She sighed and rolled her eyes " C-O-M-P-R-E-H-E-N-S-I-O-N!" She didn't even blink an eye. I said "Just go outside."
